FRIDAY KHUTBA
Khutba: The season of the believers – Winter
10. November 2022Allah (swt) has created the universe and everything in it in a certain order and balance. There is no deficiency in any of the creations. Everything created remembers Allah (swt) in a constant state of movement. The life of a human being is constantly active, just as in other creatures. At the stage of human life, there is birth and childhood like spring, which is the first of the seasons, youth like summer, maturity like autumn, and finally old age and death like winter.
Khutba: Infaq as the Guarantee of Our Future
03. November 2022Khutba: Business Ethics
27. October 2022Our religion, Islam, commands us to be ethical in business as well as in all areas of life. Allah (swt) says, “And give full measure when you measure, and weigh with an even [i.e., honest] balance. That is the best [way] and best in result.”[6] In trade, it is necessary to observe the rights of people and not to transgress them. Let's not waste our hereafter with the ambition of making profit.
Khutba: Being in Accordance with the Quran
20. October 2022he Qur'an addresses all humanity. It encourages goodness and discourages bad morals. The Qur'an is a cure for spiritual diseases such as blasphemy, hypocrisy and delusion. It appeals to the hearts and tries to cure spiritual disorders and brings benefits that will enable people to cleanse their inner world. On the other hand, the Qur'an is a guide that shows believers the right path. People who believe in it, listen to its advice, apply it, obey its orders and avoid what it prohibits will find the right way.
Khutba: Taking Our Prophet As An Example
13. October 2022Allah (swt) mentions in the Quran; “There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and [who] remembers Allah often.”[1] Prophet Muhammad (saw) is an eternal "role model" for all generations until the Day of Judgment. His good morals, way of living life and his attitude towards everything are an example for all humanity that exceeds time and space.
Khutba: Mawlid al-Nabi
06. October 2022Mawlid al-Nabi, which we will revive today, is the anniversary of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (saw). In the centuries-old tradition of Muslims, the day when our Prophet (saw) honoured the world was seen as an occasion to commemorate him and remember his sunnah. Mawlid al-Nabi is celebrated with different events in many parts of the Islamic world. On this special day, the Messenger of Allah (saw) is remembered by his ummah with respect and affection, and efforts are made to understand and apply his Sunnah.
